How to Make Tomato Sauce with Tomatin

Your tomato sauce will be ready before your pasta.

Making a delicious tomato sauce doesn’t have to mean chopping, simmering and waiting.

With Tomatin, simply add it to your tomatoes, mix, heat and serve.

It really is that easy.

1. Choose your tomatoes

Tomatin works with different types of tomatoes, depending on the texture you want.

🍅 Crushed tomatoes

For a rich, chunky tomato sauce, use a can of crushed tomatoes.

🍅 Passata

For a smooth, silky coulis, use passata.

🍅 Whole tomatoes

For a more rustic sauce (or if you have nothing else in the cupboard), use whole canned tomatoes. Once heated, blend until smooth or simply smash the tomatoes with a fork for a chunkier texture.

2. Add Tomatin

For one can of tomatoes, add:

2 tablespoons of Tomatin

Add the Tomatin directly to your tomatoes and mix vigorously until completely combined.

No complicated recipe. No long list of ingredients.

3. Heat it up

You can prepare your sauce on the hob or in the microwave.

On the hob

Pour into a pan and heat until hot, stirring occasionally.

In the microwave

Place in a microwave-safe container and heat until hot, stirring during cooking.

And that's it.

Your tomato sauce is ready.

Probably before your pasta is.

Pour it over pasta, spoon it onto pizza, use it for meatballs, shakshuka, vegetables, dip, salads, or simply make it your own.
